INBRAZA TALKS

Directed by Luara Brandao

Inbraza Talks: Building Culture from the Margins – a night of celebration, art, and urgent conversations centring Afro-Latin and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) voices.
Presented in collaboration between ACE and INBRAZA BAILE, this is a space to reclaim multicultural narratives. Stories of struggle, of creativity, power, and the impact lived every day by so-called Australia’s diverse communities.
The first edition of Inbraza Talks explores how communities outside the mainstream create, influence, and transform the cultural landscape. Hear from panellists MAYATU, LUARA BRANDÃO, NANDARA REIS, and ANGEL FÚRIA, and engage with new or familiar voices in meaningful discussions.

We acknowledge we are meeting on the Traditional Lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the East Kulin Nations and pay our respect to their Elders past and present.

We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge their living connection to Country, relationship with the land and all living things extending back tens of thousands of years.
