JD SPORTS × NEW BALANCE ABZORB 2000

Cultural Campaign & Brand Collaboration

INBRAZA collaborated with and on the Australian and New Zealand rollout campaign for the release of the ABZORB 2000 sneaker, connecting sneaker culture with the global rise of Baile Funk through music, fashion, and community-led storytelling.

Led creatively by Luara Brandão, the campaign was developed across Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, and Rio de Janeiro, integrating live cultural programming, touring activations, and branded visual content featuring local and international artists connected to the INBRAZA platform.

A key component of the collaboration was the production of an international video campaign created to support the global launch of the ABZORB 2000. The film was shot across Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro, unifying Australian and Brazilian creative scenes while highlighting the relationship between Baile Funk, movement, identity, and sneaker culture.

The campaign featured emerging artists, DJs, dancers, and creatives from Australia and Brazil, while amplifying culturally diverse talent operating within Australia’s underground music landscape.

Through the broader campaign rollout, INBRAZA supported more than 25 creatives across performance opportunities, content production, creative direction, and cultural programming outcomes.

The collaboration reflects INBRAZA’s growing role as a bridge between grassroots culture and global brands, demonstrating how community-led programming can create meaningful cultural engagement while contributing to Australia’s evolving creative industries.
